DAVID EDWARD ANDERSON

David Edward Anderson, age 67, of Belton, Missouri, passed away at home surrounded by his family on Monday, June 17, 2024.

Services will be held at Cullen Funeral Home, 612 W. Foxwood Dr. Raymore, Missouri 64083 on Monday, June 24, 2024. Visitation will begin at 12:00 p.m. followed by a funeral service at 1:00 p.m. David will then be laid to rest at Belton Cemetery.

Dave was born to Cecil and Helen Anderson at St. Luke's in Kansas City, Missouri on November 1, 1956. From a young age, Dave loved fast cars and rock n roll and dreamed of being the voice on the radio. He, however, was never meant to be in one place too long and eventually found his calling as a semi-truck driver. For the past thirty-four years, taking it one day at a time, Dave found sobriety in 1989 through Alcoholics Anonymous, met his soul mate, Teresa in 1990, had his only child, Whitney in 1991, and finally married said soul mate on April 5th, 1992. He supported his family as he drove over the road for many years before joining Victory Packaging. Dave loved to drive, but he loved music even more. In recent years, he was blessed to spend his weekends playing bass in his garage band.

David was preceded in death by his parents, Cecil and Helen Anderson.

He is survived by his loving wife, Teresa Anderson; daughter, Whitney Brooke Roger; Son-in-law, Austin; and three amazing grandchildren, Owen, Kolten, and Alivi Rogers.
