Dante Lorenzut, 87, of Raymore, MO passed away February 14, 2010. Funeral mass 11AM Thursday, February 18, 2010 at St. Sabina Catholic Church in Belton, MO, with visitation at the church from 10-11AM and rosary at 9:30AM. Burial in Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Dante was born January 19, 1923, in Gorizia, Italy. He came to the United States with his wife, Onorina and
5-year-old daughter, Claudia, in 1951 as refugees after World War II and settled in Kansas City, MO. He was a typewriter repairman for Olivetti Underwood for most of his working career and retired from Word Tec Inc. of Overland Park, KS. He was preceded in death by his father Giuseppe, his mother Francesca and daughter Claudia Wilbur. He leaves behind two daughters, Mary Wilson and Margaret Lynch and husband Dennis Lynch of Raymore, MO. He also leaves 8 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren. Memorial contributions to the St. Sabina Church Building Fund.
