DANNY DUANE COWELL SR.

Danny Duane Cowell Sr., age 70, of Belton, Missouri, passed away on Friday, July 16, 2021 surrounded by his loving family.

A visitation will be held at 10:30 a.m. on August 28th 2021 at South Haven Baptist Church, 16800 Bel-Ray Blvd. Belton, Missouri 64012. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. following visitation.

Danny was born in San Antonio, Texas on May 5, 1951 to Vern C. Cowell and Mildred Mrytis (Page) Cowell. In life Danny spent many years in construction with drywall. He owned his own drywalling business and mentored many kids over the years in the industry. As a child Danny was raised a Christian and just recently reaffirmed his faith with the Lord. On April 1, 2010 he was joined in marriage with his loving wife, Tina. Danny loved to travel, garden, and was a huge part of his children's and especially grandchildren's lives. He was an avid collector of comic books and loved to watch sci-fi movies.

Danny was preceded in death by his parents, Vern and Mildred; stepmother, Flora; sister, Shela; and brother Eugene.

He leaves behind his wife, Tina Cowell; son, Duane Jr.; four daughters, Jennifer, Alisa, Tonya, and Crystal; three brothers, Cary, Anthony, and David; four sisters, Shirley, Sandra, Sylvia, and Sharon; twelve grandchildren, Katie, Brittany, Kylie, Jacob, Taylor, Xavier, Noah, Karrisa, Morgan, Kelsie, Cyler, and Grayson; two great grandchildren; and many other family and friends.
