DALE RUSH SETZER

Dale Rush Setzer, age 72, of Peculiar, Missouri, passed away on Saturday, October 23, 2021 at the Kansas City Veterans Administration Medical Center in Kansas City, Missouri.

A graveside service will be held on a date yet to be determined at the Missouri Veterans Cemetery in Higginsville, Missouri.

Dale was born in Springfield, Missouri on June 4, 1949 to Floyd Setzer and Marcel Shew Setzer. Shortly after graduating high school, Dale was drafted and served in the United States Army for three years until his honorable discharge in 1972. In life Dale was blessed with five children; Denisha, Nicklaus, Ashley, Zachary, and Skylar. He enjoyed playing the keyboard, spending time at the lake, and playing golf.

Dale was preceded in death by his parents, Floyd and Marcel, as well as his sister Kim.

He is survived by his five children; Denisha Correll (Clark), Nicklaus Setzer (Sarah), Ashley Setzer, Zachary Setzer (Alexandra), and Skylar Setzer; sister, Cheryl Setzer Hilliard (Ronald); three grandchildren, Leah Correll, Ryann Setzer, Rylee Setzer, and two on the way; two nephews, Jason Hilliard and Eric Tilden; and niece, Amy Hilliard Cronin (Jeff).
