DALE PETER GOERGEN

Dale Peter Goergen, age 63, of midtown Kansas City, Missouri passed away June 2, 2017. Rosary and visitation will be held from 10:00-11:00 a.m., with Memorial Mass at 11:00 a.m., Monday, June 19, 2017 at Coronation of Our Lady, Grandview Missouri. A private family inurnment will take place at a later time. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Catholic Charities.

Dale was born January 2, 1954 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. He was the son of the late Charles G. Goergen and Theresa E. (Krier) Goergen. The family moved to Lewisburg, Tennessee when he was 4 and moved to Kansas City at age 12. Dale cherished his time in Lewisburg and often corresponded with neighbors from that era. He was a 1972 graduate of Raytown High School. Dale received his Bachelor of Science in biology from Northwest Missouri State. He went on to work for several hospitals as a Medical Technologist. He later earned an associate degree in Electronics technology. Architecture and historical homes held a great fascination to Dale, and he loved to travel and visit such landmarks and places.

He is survived by his mother, Theresa; his daughter, Morganna; siblings, Lee Goergen (Sue), Dean Goergen (Denise Turner), Todd Goergen (Alice), and Tracy Wilson (Leslie); along with several nieces and nephews and 2 great nephews.
