DALE BROWN
Dale Brown, 49, passed away at his home in Tonopah, AZ, on May 4, 2020. A memorial service and burial will be held at Holden Cemetery in Holden, MO, on Wednesday, May 13, at 11:00 am.
Dale was born May 8, 1970 in Rochester, NY, to Raymond and Mary Brown. He attended Jefferson High School in Rochester. After meeting his soulmate, Carla Surber, in Kansas City, MO, the two were married on September 10, 1993. They then moved to Mesa, AZ, where Dale was employed in telemarketing sales and eventually started his own business.
Dale loved his pets, fishing, history, road trips, Italian food, classic rock music, as well as spending time with family and his step grandchildren. He was immensely proud of his family and roots in New York and talked about his siblings, their children, and their grandchildren often. He was a huge Kansas City Chiefs fan and was thrilled to see them win the Super Bowl in 2020. He was also passionate about the Arizona Diamondbacks and often recalled watching them win the World Series against the Yankees in 2001. Dale was always in a good mood. He was a beautiful person who would do anything for you. He will be missed dearly. Until we meet again...
Dale is survived by his wife, Carla, and sister Debbie VanOrden. He was preceded in death by his parents, his brothers Richard and Patrick, and his sister Luann.
