CYNTHIA B. SOUTHERS

Cynthia B. Southers, age 85, of Raymore, Missouri, passed away on Tuesday, September 22, 2020 in her home.

A walk-through visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. on Friday, September 25, 2020 at Cullen Funeral Home, 612 W. Foxwood Dr. Raymore, Missouri 64083. A graveside service will be following the visitation at Raymore Cemetery in Raymore, Missouri.

Cynthia was born on March 4, 1935 in New York, New York to Harold D. Brokaw Sr. and Helen M. (Willett) Brokaw. Throughout Cynthia's life after graduating high school, she worked at many various jobs. Most recently she worked as a receptionist at the Grand Court Senior Living Facility. In life she was blessed with four children, Deborah, David, Diane, and Danell. She enjoyed participating in craft shows, creating floral arrangements for friends and family and spoiling her grandchildren.

Cynthia is preceded in death by her parents, Harold and Helen Brokaw; brother, Harold Brokaw Jr.; second husband, Geron Lesser; and third husband, George W. Southers.

She is survived by her four children, Deborah Morris (William), David Spencer (Karen), Diane Cook, and Danell Decker (Dennis); brother, Phillip Brokaw (Joyce); ten grandchildren; twenty-one great grandchildren; and many other family relatives and friends.
