CRAIG THOMAS CORATTI
Craig Thomas Coratti, 38, passed from this world on May 29, 2026, leaving behind a family whose love for him is as boundless as the open skies he so cherished.
Born on March 23, 1988, Craig lived his life with a generous spirit and an adventurous heart. He was a true outdoorsman in every sense; most at home with a fishing line in the water, a rifle in hand during hunting season, or navigating the lake in his kayak. Whether he was four-wheeling through the woods or mud, gathered around a campfire, or cooking up something from the day's catch, Craig was in his element whenever nature surrounded him. He didn't just love the outdoors; he lived it.
What made Craig truly remarkable, however, was the kind of man he was to the people around him. He would give the shirt off his back without a second thought, and there wasn't a person he wouldn’t help if they were in need. His kindness wasn't something he announced; it was simply who he was. Rooted in his faith, Craig carried a quiet strength that made everyone near him feel safe and cared for.
Craig especially enjoyed sharing his passions with his son, Jake. Whether teaching him to bait a hook, hiking through the woods during hunting season, or simply spending time together on the water, Craig loved passing down the things that brought him joy. Above all, he cherished every moment spent by Jake's side.
Craig is survived by his son, Jake Coratti; his mother, Dixie Coratti; his father, Thomas Coratti; his twin sister, Christy Coratti; his big sister, Dianna Watkins; his brother, Joey Coratti; and five beloved nieces and nephews. He was not just a brother, a son, a father, and a great friend; he was the kind of person this world needs more of.
He will be forever missed and forever loved. May he rest in the peace of wide-open waters, endless sky, and never-ending fishing.
