CONRAD E. SHIRAR
Conrad E. Shirar, 83, May 31, 1932 to Oct. 6, 2015 the son of Gerald and Mereta (Sapp) Shirar in Howard Co. Ind. He suffered 4 ½ yrs. with Dementia. He was a member of Southland Baptist Church, Belton, MO. He is survived by his wife of 65 ½ yrs. Patricia (Wall) Shirar; son, Steven of Conway, AR; daughter, Debra Coyner (Steven) of Lee's Summit, MO; 9 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. One son is deceased, Kirk Shirar of Conway, AR and 4 sisters. Con was retired from Prudential Ins. Co. After retirement he worked as a driver for John Know Village, Oats, Foxwood Springs, Truman East and CVS of Lee's Summit. Cremation-Followed by a memorial service Oct. 16, 2015 at the Lee's Summit Baptist Church 2614 NW Chipman Rd. Visitation is 5-6 PM, service will be 6 PM. A second service will be held Oct. 24, 2015 in his home town of Kokomo, Ind. at 2 PM at Shirley and Stout Funeral Home. Burial will be in Sunset Memory Garden in Kokomo. The family requests in lieu of flowers, donations to Crossroads Hospice 14310 E 42nd St. Independence, MO 64055 or Blue River Rehab. Center 10425 Chestnut KCMO 64137 in appreciation of their wonderful care.
