CONNIE D. DOUSTOU

Connie D. Doustou, age 75, of Raymore, Missouri, passed away on Sunday, June 17, 2018, at St. Joseph Medical Center.

Memorial Service will take place at 11:00 a.m., Friday, June 22, 2018, at the Missouri Veterans Cemetery, 20109 Business Highway 13
Higginsville, MO 64037.

Memorial contributions may be given to the Ronald McDonald House of Charities, 2502 Cherry Street, Kansas City, MO. 64108.

Connie was born on February 27, 1943, in Kansas City, Missouri. She was the daughter of Russell Gerken and Erma (McCoy) Gerken.

On January 7, 1966, Connie was united in marriage with Joseph Doustou. Together, Connie and Joseph shared over 52 years of marriage and three children, Darrin, Daryle, and Dianna.

For 20 years, Connie was a Paraprofessional for the Spofford Home in Kansas City, where she taught until her retirement.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Russell and Erma Gerken; three sisters, Lyn D. Gerken, Mildred "Mickey" Drude, and Rusty Hayes; and one nephew, Vernon K. Hayes, II.

Connie is survived by her husband, Joseph Doustou; her children, Darrin Doustou, Daryle Doustou, and Dianna Doustou; 4 grandchildren, Anthony, Kennedy, Austin, and Blake; along with several nieces and nephews and many friends.
