CONNIE BAKER
Connie Baker, of Raymore, MO passed away on December 15th at North Kansas City Hospital surrounded by her family. She had lived a very courageous life after being diagnosed over 4 years ago with ALS. She never complained about her situation and bravely lived her life. Connie was a wonderful wife and mother, devoted to her family. She was a self made business woman who founded Baker's Furniture in Belton, MO. She was loved and admired by all her employees. She always enjoyed trips with her husband and proudly represented the ALS Association at their conference in Washington DC even when traveling became very difficult for her. She loved her comfortable specially designed home for entertaining family and friends. She is survived by her husband of 42 years, John Baker, her son and daughter-in-law, Eric and Angie Baker and many family and friends. Visitation will be held on Saturday, December 18th from 2:00-3:30 at the Cullen Funeral in Raymore, Mo with a celebration of her life at 3:30. In lieu of flowers contributions can be made to the Keith Worthington Chapter of the ALS Association 6950 Squibb Rd., Ste. 210 Mission, KS 66202-3260.
