Cole William Bott
April 3, 1999 – June 29, 2022
Cole William Bott, age 23, passed away unexpectantly at home on June 29 th . He was born in Kansas City, MO.
Cole grew up in Blue Springs, MO and graduated from Blue Springs High School in 2017. Cole was a charming young man with a very witty sense of humor. His big, bright blue eyes lit up his face and he always had a smile (unless he was fed up with too many picture requests.) He loved his family and friends fiercely and was a lover of all animals. All that knew Cole loved him and appreciated his unique personality and his ability to confidently walk to the beat of his own drum. Cole became a music enthusiast at a very young age and started creating his own beats, which then evolved into mixing, producing and collaborating with people from all over the world. His passion and talent led him to a school for Audio Engineering, where he'd planned on starting this fall. His goal was to have his own recording studio.
Cole was also an early adopter of cryptocurrency and had spent time learning everything he could about the technology.
Cole embraced his Polish heritage and had begun learning the language in hopes of traveling there in the near future. He enjoyed the countless pierogi parties with family and friends and learning how to make them was a right of passage.
At age four, Cole was diagnosed with high-functioning autism. As he matured he understood that this was a blessing, not a curse and he made the most of who he was and didn't dwell on being different. At age 16 he was diagnosed with epilepsy, and despite the challenges he embraced every day and lived life to its fullest.
Cole was proceeded in death by his maternal grandparents Clyde W. Flanders and Rita Flanders. Cole is survived by his loving parents, Chuck Bott and Theresa Flanders, his brother Joshua Cross (Keiva) and their children Julia, Kylie and Sam, his sister Amanda Bott (Jordan Newlon) and their children Jordan and Ema, and his paternal grandparents, Barbara Edwards and Charles and Christina Bott. In addition he leaves behind:
