CLYDE SAMUEL AUFNER

Clyde Samuel Aufner, age 65, of Kansas City, Missouri, passed away at home on Saturday, August 1, 2020.

Clyde was born in Austin, Texas on December 9, 1954 to Carl Aufner and Mary Jeanne (McConnell) Aufner. Clyde was an independent contractor, painting repairs in various capacities. In life he was blessed with two children, Cara and Clyde Jr. He was an avid fisherman, loved hiking, playing guitar, and doing anything outdoors. More than anything he loved spending time with his grandchildren and near and dear to his heart were his two canine companions, Radar and Chopper.

Clyde was preceded in death by his parents, Carl and Mary Jeanne Aufner; brother Carl Aufner Jr.; and sister Karla Ray.

He is survived by his two children, Clyde Aufner Jr. (Shawna) and Cara Beck (Kristian); brother Frank Aufner (Marita); and four grandchildren, Brooks, Carter, A.J., and Audriana.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to the Missouri Conservation Heritage Foundation, 330 Commerce Dr. Jefferson City, Missouri 65109.
