CLAUDETTA KAY ROUDYBUSH

Claudetta "Casey" K. Roudybush, age 58, of Calhoun, Missouri, passed away peacefully on Thursday, October 3, 2019 surrounded by her loving family.

A funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, October 8, 2019 at Cullen Funeral Home, 612 W Foxwood Dr., Raymore, Missouri 64083. A Graveside Service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday, October 8, 2019 at Wamego City Cemetery in Wamego, Kansas.

Casey was born on July 6, 1961 in Mountain Grove, Missouri, the daughter of Joseph Sanders and Judy (Cisco) Schroeder. Throughout Casey's life she held a variety of jobs, but nothing came as close to a calling as her ability to care for others. Whether staying home with her children and grandchildren when they were young, taking in a friend or someone down on their luck, offering meals to neighbors and friends, or fostering children that needed a loving home, Casey has always invested in the interest of others. This stemmed from her Christian faith and servant heart. Casey's interests included crafting, crocheting, sewing, cooking and gardening. For the past eight years, she was a member of the New Life Miracle Center in Calhoun, Missouri.

Casey was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph Sanders and Judy Schroeder; daughter Brandee Bastian; son Ivan Earl "Shorty" Bastian III; husband Gary Roudybush; and sister Kathy Hammond.

She is survived by her loving daughter, Rosa Bottcher; step-daughters Kimberly Evans and Lea Weatherford; step-sons Bob Bastian and Scott Bastian; step-mother Joann Carter; step-father Bill Schroeder; brother Mike Sanders; her adopted children, great niece and nephew, Latesha and Jordan Hammond, and many grandchildren, great grandchildren and friends she considered family.
