CHRISTAL DAWN SANFORD

Christal Dawn Sanford, age 46, formerly of Park City, Kansas, passed away on Wednesday, September 4, 2019.

A Celebration of Life will be held for Christal on Monday, September 9, 2019 from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at Cullen Funeral Home, 612 W. Foxwood Dr. Raymore, Missouri 64083.

Christal was born on October 29, 1972 in Wichita, Kansas. Daughter of Eddie Murray and Vickie (Halcomb) Murray, Christal grew up with a brother, Scott, and sister, Dannie. After graduating high school Christal continued her education at Fort Hays State University, ultimately achieving a master's degree in business, and for twenty-two years she worked as a caring and dedicated day care provider out of her home in Park City, Kansas and most recently in Raymore.

In the Spring of 1991, Christal was joined in marriage on May 18 ^th with her husband Paul Sanford Jr. Together they were blessed with three children, Paul III, Christopher and Morgan; although, all three would tell you they were the ones blessed with having Christal as a mother. Born to care for others, Christal dedicated herself to raising her children, being a wonderful mother, grandmother, and wife. A woman of her faith in Christ, Christal taught those around her how to love deeply, protect fiercely, serve sacrificially, and always stand for truth – qualities that will live on in her family. Family was the most important aspect of Christal's life, but she also enjoyed shopping, woodworking, crafting, and puzzles.

Christal leaves behind her loving husband of twenty-eight years, Paul Sanford Jr.; two sons, Paul Sanford III (Sarah) and Christopher Sanford; daughter, Morgan Sanford; parents, Eddie Murray and Vickie Murray; father in law and mother in law, Paul O. Sanford, Sr. and Judith M. Sanford; brother Scott Murray (Lori); sister Dannie Davis (Brett); and two grandchildren, Paul Sanford IV and Harmony Sanford.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to the Heartland Christian School, 810 South Cedar Street, Belton, Missouri 64012.
