CHARLES ELVIN TAYLOR

Charles Elvin Taylor, age 68, of Belton, Missouri, passed away peacefully at home with his family by his side on January 25, 2018.

A Memorial service with Military Honors will take place at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, February 3, 2018, at Cullen Funeral Home, Raymore, Missouri.

Charles was born March 8th, 1949, in Pomeroy, Washington. He was the son of Elvin and Marjorie (Pierce) Taylor.

During October of 1969, Charles entered into the U.S. Navy and selflessly served his country during the Vietnam War.

On October 24, 1972, Charles was united in marriage with Margo Smith. Together, Charles and Margo were blessed with four children, Monica, Joel, Matthew, and Joscelyn.

Charles worked as a Warehouse Man for the Corbion Industry in the Kansas City area.

Charles was a member of the Christ Community Church in Leawood, Kansas.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Elvin and Marjorie Taylor; his son, Joel Grant Taylor; and his sister, Norma Jean Taylor.

He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Margo Taylor; his children, Monica Taylor, Matthew Taylor and his wife, Charity, and Joscelyn Taylor; along with two beloved grandchildren, Ryan and Cecilia.
