CHARLES E. COSSINS

Charles E. (Charley) Cossins, 84, of Raymore, MO passed away June 25, 2014 at the KC Hospice House. Memorial service will be 1 PM Wednesday, July 2, 2014 at the First Baptist Church of Raymore. Memorial contribution may be made to KC Hospice House 1500 Meadow Lake Parkway #200, Kansas City, MO 64114 or First Baptist Church of Raymore 58 Hwy & Washington, Raymore, MO 64083. Charles was born December 5, 1929 in Mulberry, Arkansas, the son of Harry Cossins and Grace Homan. Charles was an Army veteran serving during the Korean Conflict. He was the past president twice for the Raymore Lion's Club, member of the Belton American Legion Post #0488 and VFW Post #8228. Charles worked at Shawnee Mission Hospital as the Director of Pharmacy for 32 years. Charles was preceded in death by his parents; daughters, Julie Willoughby, Becky Wiegers and son in-law, Donald Cain. He is survived by his wife Sharon of 35 years; sons, Patrick and Michael Cossins and Richard Willoughby; daughters, Kerry Cain and Brenda Fernandes (Jim); brother, Ross Cossins (Lovell); 9 grandchildren, Rusty, Nita, Lisa, Jacob, Whitney, Brian, Heather, Jacque and Rehanne; 11 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. We would like to extend a sincere and heartfelt thank-you to all of those who supported Charles and his family during his final days with us.
