CHARLES EARL BYBEE


Charles Earl Bybee, 87, of Raymore, MO passed away November 4, 2013 at the home. Memorial Mass will be 11AM Tuesday, November 12, 2013 at St. Sabina Catholic Church, Belton, MO 10-11 AM visitation at the church. Inurnment will be 3 PM at Orient Cemetery, Harrisonville, MO. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Sabina Catholic Church. Earl was born August 28, 1926 in Harrisonville, Missouri, the son of Charles and Bertha Temple Bybee. Earl was preceded in death by his parents; sisters, Alice Hawley and Kathleen George. He is survived by his wife Leona of 54 years; sons, Craig Bybee (Dorothy) of Wichita, KS and Charles Bybee of Belton, MO; daughters, Karen Herring (Joe) of Apple Valley, CA and Pamela Crosby (Monte) of Peculiar, MO; sister, VirginiaTepesch of Paola, KS; 7 grandchildren, Chris Bybee, Mary Faith Bybee, Scott Bybee, Matt Crosby, Monte Crosby Jr., Melinda Rowan, Paul Scott and 8 great grandchildren. Earl was a Navy veteran and served during WWII, he retired with 49 ½ years as a Millwright worker for Local Union #1529, member of the VFW in Harrisonville, an over the road truck driver, a volunteer for the Harrisonville Fire Dept. and was a bus driver for the Belton School District and was still devoted to this job after retirement. He loved baseball, loved the Royals, watching sports on TV and most of all spending time with his wife.
