CHARLES WILLIAM BOGGS, SR.

Charles William Boggs, Sr., 90, of Belton, Missouri passed away June 29, 2014. Graveside service will be 3 PM Thursday, July 3, 2014 at the Missouri State Veteran's Cemetery in Higginsville, MO. Charles was born March 15, 1924 in Ottumwa, Iowa, the son of James and Mildred Sherwy Boggs. Charles retired from the US Army after 22 years of service, while serving in WWII. Charles was a member of the Shriner's and was a 50 year Mason. Charles was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Francis I. Boggs and son, Robert A. Boggs. He is survived by his sons, Charles W. Boggs, Jr. (Candy) of Orlando, FL and Richard D. Boggs (Patty) of Belton, MO; 10 grandchildren, David, Diane, John, Bobbi, Rob, Richard(Pooch), Natalie, Richard, Pam and Randy; 32 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren.
