CECIL L. VAN BLARCUM

Cecil L. Van Blarcum, age 80, of Peculiar, Missouri, passed away on Tuesday, March 8, 2022.

A visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday, March 15, 2022 at Cullen Funeral Home, 612 W. Foxwood Dr. Raymore, Missouri 64083. A memorial service will be held at the funeral home following visitation.

Cecil was born in Lusk, Wyoming on February 11, 1942 to James Clyde Van Blarcum and Della M. (Lipscomb) Van Blarcum. After graduating high school, Cecil received his Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Central Missouri in Warrensburg. In the early summer of 1963, Cecil was joined in marriage with his wife Judy on May 25th. Together they were blessed with two children, Clyde and Jerri. Cecil was a proud member of the NRA, avid hunter, and loved to fly as he obtained his pilot license.

Cecil was preceded in death by his parents, James Van Blarcum and Della May Van Blarcum; and two brothers, JD and Clyde Rex Van Blarcum.

He is survived by his loving wife of fifty-nine years, Judy Van Blarcum; son, Clyde L. Van Blarcum (Michelle Mifflin); daughter, Jerri L. Obalde (Michael); and one granddaughter, Carsyn Van Blarcum.
