CATHERINE R. TANNERY

Catherine R. Tannery, 97, Raymore, MO passed away Saturday November 3rd at Cass Regional Medical Center. Visitation 10-11 AM Friday, November 9, 2012 at St. Matthew's Catholic Church 8100 Longview Blvd. KCMO with rosary at 10 AM followed by Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 AM. Burial will be in Mt. Olivet Cemetery. The family requests no flowers and suggests contributions to Crossroads Hospice 9237 Ward Parkway KCMO or Alzheimer's Association. Catherine was born September 16, 1915 in Kansas City, MO, one of 6 children born to Anna and Henry Pfister. All have preceded her in death except her brother, Robert Pfister of Raymore, MO. Her husband and her best friend of 52 years, Raymond passed away in 1998. She leaves her four children, Linda DeFries (Richard) of Raymore, Steve Tannery (Ruth Ann)of LaCygne, KS, Jean Lynch (Bill) of Raymore and Mary Tannery (her daughter who was always at her side) of Raymore. She also leaves three grandchildren, Mark DeFries (Monica) of Lone Grove, OK, Lori Skinner (John) of Raymore and Sara Chaney (Brian) of Raytown, MO and five great-grandchildren, Destiny and Dalton DeFries, Ashleigh and Austin Skinner and Breanna Chaney and various other special nieces, nephews and relatives. She was the best mom and grandmother around. We will all miss her so much and she will forever hold a special place in our hearts.
