CAROLYN M. RICHARD

Carolyn M. Richard, age 77, of Raymore, Missouri, passed away on Saturday, September 19, 2020 in Kansas City, Missouri.

A celebration of Carolyn's life will be held with a visitation from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 26, 2020 at Cullen Funeral Home, 612 W. Foxwood Dr., Raymore, Missouri 64083

Carolyn was born in Kansas City, Missouri on June 28, 1943. After graduating high school Carolyn created a career for herself in clerical work, specifically bookkeeping for District 71 IAM &AW. In life she was blessed with three children, Troy, Terri, and Tammie. In 1979 Carolyn was joined in marriage with her late husband, David Richard in Oklahoma. She loved her children and grandchildren as well as her dogs. She enjoyed playing computer games, working in her yard, collecting dolls and jewelry. She was also a fan of NASCAR.

Carolyn is preceded in death by her loving husband of eighteen years, David Richard; her parents, Ian Drake and Gladys (Stubbs) Drake; and grandson, Nathan Sullivan.

She is survived by her three loving children, Troy Sullivan (Susan), Terri Rogers (Dave), and Tammie Sykes (Craige); six grandchildren, Allison Murphy (Kevin), Nick McKay (Sami), Jesse La Joie, Jeremy Sykes, Sarah Sykes, Rose Sykes; and three great grandchildren, Patrick, DJ, and Carolyn.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to a charity of your choice.
