Obituary

CAROLYN SUE MACK

Carolyn Sue Mack, age 77 of Peculiar Missouri passed peacefully into heaven on March 10, 2025, at Belton regional Medical Center.

A celebration of life visitation will be held from 1-3 p.m. on Friday, March 28, 2025, at Cullen Funeral Home, Inc., 612 W. Foxwood Dr., Raymore, Missouri 64083.

Carolyn was born on January 3, 1948. The daughter of Samuel J Roberts and Barbara J Roberts (Bauerle). After graduating from Grandview High School, Carolyn got a job working at Hallmark cards, where her father worked for 34 years.  They soon discovered that she was very artistic, and Mr. Hall offered her a Scholarship to study art, which she eventually declined and regretted in her later years. She actually started making her original hand painted Christmas cards.  Her creative personality showed up in almost everything she did. She loved pulling off a Halloween tradition by dressing up in her original old man creation.  She fooled many a person!!! She loved driving down in the middle of the night with her "partner in crime" her sister, Pam to surprise their Mom! She also loved hanging out at her sister Vicki and Ernie's farm with her nieces and nephew.  She always kept them laughing!!!

Carolyn was an adventurous, free spirit! Her favorite job was driving a horse and carriage on the Plaza.  She actually lived on the farm where the horses were stabled and cared for. Carolyn worked at Welcome House and was eventually placed in charge of their nonprofit thrift store in downtown KC. Carolyn ran the store while her son Tony, drove the box truck and picked up donations!  She loved working with her son and cherished those memories.

Carolyn was preceded in death by her parents, Samuel and Barbara Roberts; her son, Tony Pasquarelli; and her granddaughter, Kayla Pasquarelli.

She is survived by her two daughters, Laura (Nikki) Hatfield and Elizabeth (Danielle) Hatfield; her grandchildren, Skylar, Isabella, Kyle, and Dillon; her siblings, Pam Crawford, Vicki Beck (Ernie), Randy Roberts (Phyllis); and many nieces and nephews, Jaime, Matt, Chris, Leah, Jesse, Caitlin, Allie, Craig and Keith.

In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project https://www.woundedwarriorproject.org/
