CAROLE JEAN BRUMMER

Carole Jean Brummer, age 76, of Belton, Missouri, passed away on Wednesday, June 19, 2024.

Services will be held on Tuesday, June 25, 2024 at Cullen Funeral Home, 612 W. Foxwood Dr. Raymore, Missouri 64083. Visitation will begin at 10:00 a.m. followed by a funeral service at 11:00 a.m. Carole will then be laid to rest at Belton Cemetery.

Carole was born in Menomonee Falls, Wisconsin on October 17, 1947 to Carrol and Leona Marquardt. Carole received her Master's degree in Gerontology and worked as a nurse for many years. Most recently she was the Director of Nursing at Foxwood Springs Living Center. In life, Carole was a woman of Lutheran faith and attended Lord of Love Church. She loved to garden, travel, entertain others with dinners, shopping, and had a love for all animals.

Carole was preceded in death by her parents, Carrol and Leona Marquardt; husband David H. J. Brummer; and sister, Ruth Patton.

She is survived by her children, David M. Brummer (Dee) and Jodi Brummer; sister, Joan Troutman; grandchildren, Brandon Hilden (Britany) and Nicole Hilden; and great grandchildren, Elliana and Emerson Hilden.

Memorial donations may be given to the Harrisonville Animal Shelter, 1400 N. Clear Water Dr., Harrisonville, Missouri 64701.
