CAROL L. YOUNG

Carol L. Young, age 65, of Cleveland, Missouri passed away peacefully on February 25, 2025, at Research Medical Center surrounded by her loving family.

A Celebration of Life Visitation will be held from 5:00-7:00 p.m. Friday, March 7, 2025, at Cullen Funeral Home, Inc., Raymore, Missouri 64083.

Carol was born in Kansas City, Missouri on March 14, 1959, the daughter of Robert Sandifer and Margaret Blucher. After graduating from high school, Carol met Larry W. Young and were married on September 6, 1980. Together they were blessed with two children, Andrea and Erik. In life, Carol has worked in the restaurant industry for over forty plus years. She was an avid reader (mainly Stephen King), a huge Kansas City Chiefs fan, she loved playing darts and pool with her family and friends. Carol and Larry also loved going camping and enjoying the great outdoors.

Carol was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Margaret Sandifer; and husband, Larry W. Young.

She is survived by her loving daughter, Andrea Szapocznik (Jesse); son, Erik Young; sister, Cheryl Hagedorn (Don); four grandchildren, Brandon, Cadience, Gracie and Caleb.
