CAROL ANN WALKER

Carol Ann Walker, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, peacefully passed away in her sleep on August 6, 2026, at the age of 90. Born on September 30, 1935, in Nevada, Missouri, Carol was the cherished daughter of Jesse Justin Kemp and Mary Jennie McNeil, who preceded her in death. Her three siblings also preceded her in death.

Carol was a devoted wife to Robert Walker, with whom she shared nearly 70 years of marriage. Together, they built a loving family, raising three wonderful children: Diane and her husband, Don Enloe, of Liberty, Missouri; Jill and her husband, Mark Boman, of Crowley, Texas; and Neal and his wife, Lori Walker, of Raymore, Missouri. Carol's legacy of love and kindness continues through her seven grandchildren—Lauren Boman, Rachel Frisbee and husband Matt, Rebecca Bockelman and husband Joel, Jonathan Enloe, Andrew Boman and wife Carrie, Emily Walker, and Leeann Walker—and her six great-grandchildren, Levi, Macy, Gideon and Nathanael Bockelman, Micah Enloe, and Andi Boman, all of whom brought immense joy to her life.

A graduate of Nevada High School, Carol began her career at Hallmark, where she worked for six years before dedicating herself to her true calling as a homemaker and mother. Her nurturing spirit and unwavering devotion to her family were her greatest accomplishments.

Carol was a charter member of Blue Ridge Baptist Temple in Kansas City, where she found a community that shared her deep faith. Her relationship with Jesus was central to her life, and she fervently prayed for her family, hoping they would share in her love of Jesus.

An avid reader and talented in the arts of crocheting and knitting, Carol created numerous afghans for her loved ones. Her home was filled with warmth, not just from the love she shared, but from the beautiful creations she made with her hands. Carol had a passion for travel, with Roaring River State Park holding a special place in her heart. She also cherished antiquing trips with her sister-in-law, Evelyn, where they would explore and uncover treasures together.

Carol was a storyteller at heart, delighting in recounting family history and significant historical events to those she loved. Her love for her family was boundless, and she treasured every moment spent with them.

A service celebrating Carol's life will be held on August 10, 2026, at Pathway Church of Raymore, located at 904 S. Madison, Raymore, MO. VIstitation will be from 12-1, followed by funeral at 1. Carol Ann Walker's life was a testament to love, faith, and family. She touched the hearts of all who knew her, and her legacy will continue to inspire and uplift her family for generations to come. She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered.
