CAROL SUE MCCORMICK

Carol Sue (Young) McCormick, age 73, of Peculiar, Missouri, passed away August 16, 2021 at Research Hospital surrounded by her loving family.

A visitation will be held from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, August 21, 2021 at Cullen Funeral Home, 612 W. Foxwood Dr. Raymore, Missouri 64083. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. followed by burial at Belton Cemetery in Belton, Missouri.

Carol was born April 16, 1948 to J.T. and Jean (Brown) Young of Kansas City, Missouri. Carol married her high school sweetheart John J. McCormick. They were married at Blenheim Assembly of God. Their home was always open to all friends and family. Carol worked in the medical field for over thirty years. Carol enjoyed motorcycle trips with John and friends, spending summers at the lake with her family and boating for hours with John. She enjoyed going to the race track but most of all, she loved being surrounded by her husband, three girls, thirteen grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren and two more on the way.

Carol was proceeded in death by her father, J.T. Young and grandsons, Samuel and Tucker Price.

Surviving her are mother, Jean Young; husband, John McCormick; brother, Mike Young (Teresa); daughter, Shelley (David) Arechigo and family Lee, Tom, Curtis, Ryan, Austin, Mariah, Lukas, and Nikkolette; daughter, Sherry (Gerald) Davis and family Emily and Katlin; daughter, Stacy (Shannon) Price and family Shyann, Kolton, and Kolbey.
