BURTON D. GEPFORD IV

Burton "Burt" Gepford IV, age 57, of Belton, Missouri, passed away on Sunday, November 18, 2018 at the Kansas City Hospice House.

A Visitation Service will be held from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. on Friday, November 23, 2018 with a Funeral Service to follow at 11:00 a.m. at Cullen Funeral Home 612 W. Foxwood Dr. Raymore, Missouri 64083. A Graveside Service will be held later that day at 3:00 p.m. at Riverside Cemetery, Warsaw, Missouri.

Burt was born on February 12, 1961 in Kansas City, Missouri. He was the son Burton D. Gepford III and Letha Ann Reed. Growing up Burt was an only child.

After high school Burt continued his education through a trade school and built a career in construction. He joined the Labor Union and after eighteen years, retired in 2014. Burt was blessed with a son, Burton "Bopper" Gepford V and in the Fall of 2001 was joined in marriage with his wife Patty on October 27th. With this marriage, Patty also blessed Burt with two daughters, Ashley and Aubrey.

Burt is preceded in death by his father, Burton D. Gepford III.

He is survived by his loving wife of seventeen years, Patty Gepford; mother, Letha Kidwell (husband, Bill); son Burton D. "Bopper" Gepford V (wife Natalie); daughters, Ashley Dawe and Aubrey Carmona (husband Evan); and six grandchildren, Christian, Caeli, Caden, Calvin, Cale Jr., and Bailey.
