BUDDY R. MARTIN

Buddy R. Martin, age 74, of Raymore, Missouri passed suddenly at his home on Monday, February 8, 2021.

A visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Friday, February 12, 2021 at Cullen Funeral Home, 612 W. Foxwood Dr. Raymore, Missouri 64083. Military honors will take place at 5:00 p.m. to begin the visitation.

Buddy was born in Odessa, Missouri on December 7, 1946 to Howard and Ruby (Bohrn) Martin.  Buddy honorably served his country in the United States Navy for four years during the Vietnam conflict from 1964-1968 with commendations for bravery. He then created a career for himself as a self employed barber. In life, music was most near and dear to Buddy's heart. He was an amazing musician, playing guitar and being the lead vocalist in many bands throughout his life. In 2002 he was joined in marriage to his wife Carrie.

Buddy was preceded in death by his parents, Howard and Ruby Martin; and two brothers, Howard Martin Jr. and Edward Martin.

He leaves behind his loving wife of over nineteen years, Carrie Martin; two sons, Joseph Carter (Robin) Blue Springs, Mo and Tommy Barton (Edie) Raytown, Mo; stepson, Randy Humbird (Ben); two daughters, Monique Patton, California and Samantha Rowser( Jerome) California; stepdaughter Ashli Humbird; brother Everett Martin, Independence, Mo; two sisters, Sue Wilkerson, Norman, Oklahoma and Vicki Jones (Mike) Oak Grove, Mo; and four grandchildren, Bella Price, Sean Patton, Jasmin Rowser, and Jada Rowser plus many nieces and nephews. All of whom love him and will miss him greatly.
