BRENDA K. SHAVER

Brenda K. Shaver, the daughter of Leon and Imogene Shaver was born on December 23, 1953 in Pekin, Illinois and moved to her heavenly home on March 09, 2016.

She is preceded in death by her parents Leon and Imogene Shaver, one brother Jerry Shaver, her Uncles Paul E. (Roberta) Campbell and Charles T. Campbell; and three cousins, David L. (Kathy) Campbell, Martin Campbell and Jeffrey Campbell.

She is survived by her nephew, Michael Shaver and wife Robin and children, Cody and Lilly of Springfield, MO; her aunt, Roberta (Paul E.) Campbell of Pekin, IL and cousins, Debbi (Phil) Migit of Groveland, IL, Scott (Yvette) Campbell of Brainerd, MN, and Kathy (David L.) Campbell of Pekin, IL, and Eric Campbell of Pekin, IL. Also, dear friends Jamie and Carla McArthur. She was deeply loved as an honorary aunt to all of their children.

She had three godchildren, Devin, Destiny, and Dylan Cain all of Blue Springs, MO.

She accepted Christ as her Savior at a very early age and was a member of Joyful Sound Worship Center of Peculiar, MO.

Brenda was a loyal employee of Wal-Mart for over twenty-five years, working as a department manager in stores in Salem, MO and East Peoria and Pekin, IL.

Brenda was a devoted cat lover and through the years had five feline friends: Snoopy, Ali, Feisty, Prissy, and Katie.

One of Brenda's greatest adventures was her trip to Israel in 1984 with her best friend Beth Light and Beth's mom June Brooks and returning home through Switzerland for a couple of days.
