FRANCIS R. "BOB" WESTFALL

Francis R. "Bob" Westfall, age 89, of Belton, Missouri passed away December 9, 2016 at KC Hospice House, surrounded by his family.

Bob was born September 22nd, 1927 in Philadelphia. He was the son of Albert and Helen Westfall. In his life he had many accomplishments; he served his Country in the United States Air Force as a Chief Master Sergeant and was nominated as one of the top Chief Master Sergeants of the Air Force; he was also a graduate of Avila College.

Bob was preceded in death by his daughter, Valerie Jean Cannon and son Bradford John Westfall. He leaves behind his wife of 68 years, Mary Westfall of Belton, MO; his daughter, Sandra Jenkins of Shawnee, KS; his granddaughter, Danielle Beitzinger and her husband, Brian; his grandson, Jamie Howard and his wife Kayla; and four great grandchildren, Ireland; Sophia; Philip and Weston.

It is with great sadness that we have had to say goodbye to such a wonderful man.

A Mass of Christian burial will begin at 11:00 a.m., with visitation from 10-11, Tuesday, December 13, 2016 at St. Sabina Catholic Church in Belton, MO. Burial will take place at Belton Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to the American Veterans Society, the Alzheimer's association, or KC Hospice House- Our heartfelt thanks go out to everyone there that showed unwavering compassion.
