BLANCHE M. BENDER
Blanche M. Bender, 86, of Raymore, MO passed away November 23, 2010, at The Rehabilitation Center of Raymore. Memorial services will be 10:00 a.m. Saturday, November 27, 2010 at Cullen Funeral Home, Raymore, MO. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions to your favorite church or charity. One of her favorite charities was the Salvation Army. Blanche was born in Fort Dodge, Iowa and graduated high school there. She was happily married to Dale Bender for 57 years until his death. Blanche retired from Bethany Hospital in Kansas City, Kansas. She then worked as an office manager for a professional medical office. Blanche is survived by her four children: Janet Brewer of Hot Springs Village, AR; Bruce (Kathy) Bender of Little Rock, AR; Pam (George) Timko of Independence, MO; and Cindy (Brad) Harmon of Tomball, TX. She is also blessed with nine grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren and her two sisters, Betty Craig of Marshalltown, IA and Barbara Culver of Mesa, AZ. She was full of energy, laughter, love, and was always unselfish and caring for others. Although she will be greatly missed the memory of her will remain with us always.
