BLANCA NORMA MARIN

Blanca Norma Marin, age 71, formerly of San Antonio, Texas, passed away on Wednesday, November 27, 2019 at her home in Raymore, Missouri, surrounded by her loving family.

A visitation service will be held from 6:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. on Monday, December 2, 2019 followed by a Rosary at 7:30 p.m. at Cullen Funeral Home, 612 W. Foxwood Dr. Raymore, Missouri 64083. A funeral mass will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, December 3, 2019 at Our Lady of Peace Parish, 1029 Bennington Ave., Kansas City, Missouri 64126. Burial will be held at Mt. Olivet Catholic Cemetery in Raytown, Missouri immediately following mass.

Blanca was born in Nueva Rosita, Coahulla Mexico on August 12, 1948. Baptized August 29 ^th 1949 at a Catholic Church in Matamores, Mexico She was the daughter of Jose M. Villarreal and Maria G. Villarreal. Blanca had six siblings, Dora, Alma, Joe, Maria, Adriana, and Albert. In life she was a woman of Catholic faith and lead her life nothing short of that. Blanca gave much of her time and energy to her family and various people throughout her life. Her ministries included our reach to those in need, military personnel, various organizations and those working with immigration.

Blanca was preceded in death by her father, Jose M. Villarreal; two sisters, Dora Villarreal and Alma Saenz; and son Alejandro Marin.

She is survived by her loving husband of fifty two years, Leandro Marin; four daughters, Jacqueline Marin (Vicente), Diana Marin (Alfonso), Michelle Meissen, and Monique Marin; two brothers, Joe Villarreal (Judy) and Albert Villarreal; two sisters, Maria H. Johnson and Adrianna Freedman (Mike); fifteen grandchildren; and seven great grandchildren.
