BILLY G. COLEMAN

Billy G. Coleman, age 84, of Raymore, Missouri, passed away on Thursday, July 14, 2016. Funeral Mass will begin at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, July 21, with visitation from 5:00-7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, July 20th at St. Sabina Parish, Belton, MO. Burial will take place at 1:30 p.m. at Fort Leavenworth Cemetery in Leavenworth, KS. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project, PO Box 758517, Topeka, Kansas, 66675 or the charity of your choice.

Billy was born on Tuesday, March 1, 1932 in Tula, Mississippi. He was the son of Abner and Alice Irene (Davis) Coleman. After graduating from high school, Billy enlisted into the United States Air Force and he bravely served his country. He also worked in the Air Force as a civil engineer and retired with over 22 years of honorable and dedicated service.

Billy G. Coleman was preceded in death by his parents; his two sons, Billy G. Coleman, Jr. and David Russell Coleman; two brothers, J.T. and Charles Coleman; and four sisters, Lathel Shelton, Willis Foster, Myra Tell, and Jerolyn Grimes.

He is survived by his three daughters, Carolyn McCullough of Portland, OR, Terry Willcott (Robert) of Overland Park, KS, and Kelly Simoneau (Curt) of Portland, OR; one brother, Robert Coleman (Maxine) of Cabot, AR; six grandchildren, Justin, Jennifer, Kyle, Kalynn, Holden and Kirsten; and six great-grandchildren, Lilly, Kazmira, Kaden, Emrie, Elana, Oriana and his Beloved dog Casi.
