BILLY LEROY COBB
Billy Leroy Cobb, age 74, of Belton, Missouri, passed away on February 5, 2021.
At this time, a celebration of Bill's life will be held on a later date.
Bill was born in Creston, Iowa on November 13, 1946 to Robert Dale Cobb and Dorthy Jean (Weckman) Cobb. After schooling, Bill faithfully served his country in the United States Marine Corps until entering the work force. Bill worked hard throughout life and was a member of the Operating Engineers Union Local 101, eventually owning his own business Cobb Grading up until retirement. In life Bill didn't know a stranger. He loved to travel, spend time at his cabin in Lake of the Ozarks, and share a good drink with friends. Bill was the type of person who kids were drawn too as he was a kid at heart.
Bill was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Dorthy Cobb; brother Mike Cobb; sister Lisa Bechtold; and first wife, Joyce Brady.
He leaves behind his loving wife Mary Cathy Cobb; son, Wil Cobb; two daughters, Dr. Robin Stone and Amy Vandenbrul; two brothers, Terry Cobb (Rhonda) and Wayne Cobb (Sharon); two sisters, Debbie Westerfield (Bill) and Sandy Hare (Jack), three grandchildren, Skyler, River, and Chloe; and one great grandchild, Ryder.
