Beverly Ann Gregory (Bremer), August 29, 1940 – October 20, 2024

Beverly Ann Gregory 84, passed away in her sleep during the night. She was born in Cole Camp Mo but moved with her family to Kansas City Kansas. She was married November 4, 1961 to Vernon LeeRoy Gregory Jr. and they spent 49 years together until his passing in 2010. They lived in Independence, MO, Kansas City, MO, Freeman, MO, and lastly Belton, Mo.

Beverly started her career as a floral designer, and continued this passion as a hobby her whole life. She then spent over the next 35 years as a Walmart Employee in Harrisonville, MO. She made several life long friends at this job. Her proudest job was that of Mom. She was as devoted a mother as she was a wife making sure her children knew that they were loved. She proceeded to get promoted from Mom to Grandma, then even on to Great-Grandma.

Beverly was a lifelong Lutheran, her current church is Bethlehem Lutheran Church of Raymore Mo, and she raised her family knowing the Lord. She made sure they made it to Church Services, Sunday School, and Vacation Bible School. She loved to sing the songs at home as well as at church.

Besides making flower arrangements, Beverly loved to garden whether it was her vegetable garden at home or her Mothers flower boxes, she had a green thumb. Beverly would also tell you stories about her growing up, her best friend from high school, her finding my dad or stories about her kids. She had a bright smile and warm hug that made everything seem alright.

Beverly was preceded in death by her parents Walter and Emma (Schnakenberg) Bremer, her brother Stanley Bremer, brother-in-law Russell Scott, and husband Vernon L. Gregory Jr.

She is survived by her sister Joyce Ellwanger and Rev. Joe Ellwanger of Milwaukee WI; her sister Emily Scott of Pryor, OK; sister-in-law Charlene Bremer of Grandview, MO; her eldest daughter Robin Rae Johnson and husband Brian Johnson of Grandview, MO; her eldest son Vernon LeeRoy (Lee) Gregory III of Belton, MO; her youngest daughter Kimberly Ann Hattery and husband Christopher Hattery of Billings, MT; youngest son Walter Scott Gregory of Harrisonville, MO; her grandchildren Daniel Johnson, Kristopher Johnson, Terry Johnson and wife Ione Cuesta Johnson, Michael Gregory and wife Kim Gregory, Christopher (CJ) Hattery, Timothy Hattery, Crystal Hattery, Trenton Luke Balducci, Vincent Balducci; her great grandchildren Faith Johnson, Jacob Johnson, Dakota Johnson, Mason Johnson, Kolten Johnson, Hayden Johnson, Leeloo Johnson, Conner McGain Hattery, Caleb Hattery, Hunter Hattery, Jahsiah Hattery, Kimyla Hattery; a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.

Funeral will be October 28, 2024, visitation will be from 10:00 and service to follow at 11:00 at Bethlehem Lutheran Church, 310 Johnston Pkwy, Raymore MO 64083; Interment to follow at Belton Cemetery, 710 S Scott Ave, Belton MO 64012.
