BEVERLY "SONNY" G. HEIM

Beverly "Sonny" G. Heim, 84, of Belton, MO, passed away peacefully December 29, 2014. Funeral service will be Noon, Friday, January 2, 2015 at Cullen Funeral Home with visitation 11 AM-Noon. Graveside service will be Noon, Saturday, January 3, 2015 at Peninsula Cemetery in Blackwater, MO. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Peninsula Cemetery, 313 Main St, Blackwater, MO 65322. Sonny was born August 20, 1930 in Modoc, Kansas, the son of William W. and Sadie I. (Garrett) Heim. Sonny was preceded in death by his parents; five brothers, Roger, John, Warner, Russel and Milton Heim; and three sisters, Edna Kolzow, Dorothy Steele, and Betty Jean Mitchell. He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Lela P. (Malotte) Heim; daughter, Teresa Heim; sister, Evelyn Bauck; niece, Debra Brown and nephew, Carl Brown. Sonny was a heavy equipment operator for Local Union #101 and retired after 30 years.
