BEVERLY JEAN EKER

Beverly Jean Eker, age 88, of Belton, Missouri, passed away peacefully on Friday, April 9, 2021.

A visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, April 17, 2021 at Cullen Funeral Home, 612 W. Foxwood Dr. Raymore, Missouri 64083. A funeral service will follow at 11:00 a.m. with burial at Shawnee Mission Memory Gardens.

Beverly was born in Kansas City, Kansas on January 29, 1933 to Albert E. Whisler and Ida Bell (Morrow) Whisler. She attended Turner High School. Beverly was a homemaker, caring for her 5 children, and for a few years worked as a real estate agent. Beverly attended Rock Brook Church in Belton, Missouri and had a strong Christian faith. In life, she loved spending time with her family, driving her RV on camping trips with Loners on Wheels RV group, playing the piano and sing, an avid gardener all sorts of flowers and vegetables, enjoyed birds, rocks, all kinds of nature.

Beverly was preceded in death by her loving husband, Charles R. Eker; parents, Albert and Ida Whisler; son Lance Raymond Eker; and brother, Delbert Whisler.

She leaves behind her four loving children, Paula Andersson Kjellquist (Ingemar), Perry Eker (Jeanie), Charlotte Singleton (Edward), and Mark Eker; eleven grandchildren; twenty great grandchildren; and two great-great grandchildren.
