BETTY J. STEVENS

Betty J. Stevens, 86, of Belton, MO passed away August 14, 2015. Funeral service will be 11 AM Saturday, August 22, 2015 at Cullen Funeral Home with visitation 10-11 AM. Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery, Greenwood MO. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Vitas Hospice 2316 E. Meyer Blvd., 7th Floor East Kansas City, MO 64132. Betty was born December 5, 1928 in Rich Hill, Missouri, the daughter of Farley and Virginia (Vanderbeck) Compton. Betty was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Carl Stevens; daughter, Ellen Smith; two brothers, Farley and Francis Compton; and sister, Lenora Wasson. She is survived by her daughter, Linda Gray and husband (Larry); son, Robert Stevens and girlfriend (Carla); step-son, Greg Stephens; five grandchildren, Sheila, Steven, Michael, Heather and Reva; two step-granddaughters, Angelique and Kelly; and 11 great-grandchildren.
