BETTY JEAN DOSS

Betty Jean Doss (Bruckner), age 89, passed away on Friday, September 6, 2019.

A memorial service will be held for Betty at the Raymore Christian Church on Saturday, September 14, 2019 at 1:00 p.m.

Betty was born on February 19, 1930 in Johnson City, Texas to Charles and Ola Bruckner (Crider). Betty attended the University of Texas at Austin where she met Rev. Clarence Doss. They were married forty-seven years until his death in 1999. Betty and Clarence had three children. Together the Dosses ministered to many Disciples of Christ Churches.

Betty is preceded in death by her husband, Clarence Doss; son, Richard Doss; and parents, Charles and Ola Bruckner.

She is survived by her daughter Anne Hansen and husband Sandy, Lincoln, Nebraska; daughter Carol Doss, Topeka, Kansas; four grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
