BETTY JO BALDWIN

Betty Jo Baldwin, 88, passed away October 14, 2016 at Beautiful Savior in Belton, Missouri.
A Graveside service will take place at 12:00 p.m., Tuesday, October 18, at Greenlawn Cemetery, 3506 N National Ave, Springfield, MO 65803.

Betty was born November 7, 1927 in Springfield, Missouri. She was the daughter of Ralph and Mable (Pollock) Waddell. On April 18, 1946 Betty was united in marriage to Ray Baldwin. Together Betty and Ray were blessed with three children, Virginia, David and Michael.

Betty devoted her life to her family as a loving wife, mother and homemaker. She was an artist who enjoyed needlepoint and embroidery, and she used her talents as a member of the Oklahoma Inola's Extension Homemakers Club. Betty also attended Hillcrest Presbyterian Church in Springfield, Missouri.

Betty was preceded in death by her parents; her loving husband of 66 years, Ray Baldwin; and her sister, Dorothy M. Rice.

She is survived by her children, Virginia Cason, David Baldwin and his wife, Sandy, Michael Baldwin and his wife, Jennifer; 7 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
