BERNICE ELAINE BROCKMEIER

Bernice Elaine Brockmeier, age 82, of Belton, Missouri, passed away on Sunday, January 7, 2024.

A memorial service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, January 20, 2024 at Cullen Funeral Home, 612 W. Foxwood Dr. Raymore, Missouri 64083.

Elaine was born in Stafford, Kansas on May 25, 1941 to Boyd Emmerson and Leona Elaine (Gerdes) Masten. She graduated from Stafford High School in 1959 and went on to continue her business education in Omaha, Nebraska. Eliane relocated to the Kansas City area and for many years worked for various companies, most recently retiring from Omni Media as the president's assistant. In life, Elaine was a woman of Methodist faith and a faithful member of the First United Methodist Church in Stafford, Kansas. More than anything she adored and loved her son, grandchildren, great grandchildren, and many extended family members. She also raised and road horses for many years as she loved taking them on trail rides. Elaine also enjoyed quilting, ceramics, and was the founder and president of the Booster Club of SSJAA.

Elaine was preceded in death by her parents Boyd and Leona Masten; partner, Dale Morrison; brother, Boyd Edward Masten; and great nephew, Brody Edward Younkin.

She is survived by her son, Todd Brockmeier (Georgia); sister, Marceline A. Masten; three grandchildren, Laci Brockmeier (Nick Davis), Brock Brockmeier (Meghan), and Colton Brockmeier (Kari); six great grandchildren, Bray, Jack, Easton, KC, Hunter, and Maren; two nephews, Scott Younkin (Crystal) and Stacy Younkin (Phillys); five great nephews; three great nieces; and one great-great niece.
