BERNICE ANNA BOLTON

Bernice Anna Bolton, age 92, of Raymore, Missouri, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family on Friday, June 23, 2023.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, June 29, 2023 at Bethlehem Lutheran Church, 310 Johnston Pkwy., Raymore, Missouri 64083. Visitation will begin at 10:00 a.m. followed by a funeral service at 11:00 a.m. A graveside service will be held at 4:00 p.m. at Greenwood Cemetery in Council Grove, Kansas.

Bernice was born in Grain Valley, Missouri on March 26, 1931 to Henry Louis Mueller and Anna Matilda (Anderson) Mueller. Bernice graduated high school and was joined in marriage with Phillip Eugene Bolton on July 24, 1949. Their union was blessed with three sons. Bernice held a strong Lutheran faith and has been a very active member of the Lutheran Church playing the organ, piano, and singing. In life, family was most important to Bernice, caring for her children when they were younger and enjoying her grandchildren and great grandchildren later in life. Bernice was a member of the Lutheran Women's Missionary League and enjoyed sewing, quilting, and crocheting.

Bernice was preceded in death by her loving husband Phillip Eugene Bolton; son, Michael Eugene Bolton; parents, Henry and Anna Mueller; and three brothers, Robert, Jack, and Leroy Mueller.

Here to cherish her memory are her two sons, Kevin Bolton and Doug Bolton (wife, Linda); sister, Evelyn Page; five grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild with one on the way.
