BERNADINE AGNES KEATING

Bernadine Agnes Keating, age 90, of Belton, Missouri, passed away peacefully surrounded by loving family on Friday, January 17, 2025.

A celebration of Bernie's life will be held with a visitation from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, January 23, 2025 at Cullen Funeral Home, 612 W. Foxwood Dr. Raymore, Missouri 64083.

Bernie was born in Ladysmith, Wisconsin on March 4, 1934 to John and Frances Gorla. Bernie was joined in marriage with her husband Walter Keating on April 14, 2009. She worked for many years as a waitress at Jess and Jim's Steak House in Martin City where she made lasting
friendships and memories with her core group of waitresses. In life, Bernie was a people person. She loved spending time with her friends and family, shopping, watching the Kansas City Royals and Chiefs, loved her flowers and enjoyed going to the casino.

Bernie was preceded in death by her parents, John and Frances Gorla; and two sisters, Barbara Barnhill (Eddie) and Rita Hull (Norman).

She is survived by her loving husband, Walter Keating. Her two children, Doug Slinker and Connie Hedger; three grandchildren, Terra Stegner (Jeff), Daxton Slinker and Hudson Slinker; two great grandchildren, Parker Gruetze and Alexandria Gruetze; one great-great granddaughter, Raelyn Hagen; her step children from Walt, Helen (Kevin), Bonnie (Ray), Nancy (Curt) and Don.
