BARBARA J. THOMS

Barbara J. Thoms, 62, of Lee's Summit, MO passed away April 8, 2016. Funeral service will be 11 AM Tuesday, April 12, 2016 at Cullen Funeral Home with visitation 10-11 AM. Burial will be in Gardner Township Cemetery, Gardner, KS.

Barbie was born November 27, 1953 in Kansas City, Kansas, the daughter of Donald E. and Marjorie A. (Simons) Thoms.

Barbie was preceded in death by her parents, Donald and Marjorie; and brother, Chris Thoms. She is survived by her siblings, Kathy Schiltz and husband Cary, Janice Steele and husband Mike, Alexis Griffin, and Julie Suppenbach and husband Michael; and a sister in law; twelve nieces and nephews and 17 great nieces and nephews. Although the majority of her life was carefree and fun, the past several years were filled with trials from her failing health. We find comfort knowing she is no longer in pain.
