BARBARA FAYE PAMER
Barbara F. Pamer, age 82, of Peculiar, Missouri passed away on Wednesday, May 1, 2019.
A Memorial Service will be held on Sunday, May 26, 2019 at Cullen Funeral Home, 612 W. Foxwood Dr. Raymore, Missouri 64083. Visitation will begin at 2:00 p.m. followed by a Celebration of Life Service at 3:00 p.m.
Barbara was born on October 27, 1936 in Barberton, Ohio. She was the daughter of Alvin Jones and Charlotte Arent Jones. Growing up, Barbara had one brother, Thomas Bert. After graduating high school, she attended Graceland College. Barbara enjoyed various jobs throughout her life, but her life's passion was always taking care of her family.
Barbara was joined in marriage with her husband, Ron Pamer on September 7, 1957. Together they were blessed with two sons, Kirk and Keith, and three daughters, Koni, Kelli and Kassi. She was a life long member of Community of Christ Church where she taught Sunday School and was actively involved as a Youth Leader for church youth camps. In addition to her faith and love of her family, Barbara was also an avid sewer, a movie buff, loved puzzles and cards, playing games, being outside working in her yard, and was in love with her Yorkies: Sissie, Patch, and Bittie.
Barbara was preceded in death by her parents, Alvin and Charlotte Jones; brother Thomas Bert; and son Kirk Patrick Pamer.
She is survived by her loving husband of 62 years, Ronald Pamer; son Keith Pamer (Amy); three daughters, Koni Tabor (Bill), Kelli Craven (Phil) and Kass Risor; ten grandchildren, Kirk Tabor (Kaylee), Kason Tabor, Kami Tabor, Aaron Craven, Alex Craven (Tara), Kaitlyn Craven, Hanna Porter, Cole Risor, Haylee Pamer and Emma Pamer; and one great granddaughter, Kynzlee Porter.
In lieu of flowers, Memorial Contributions may be given to the American Heart Association 6800 93rd St, Overland Park, KS 66212, Wayside Waifs 3901 Martha Truman Rd, Kansas City, MO 64137, or Disabled American Veterans 14605 E US Hwy 40, Kansas City, MO 64136.
