AUDREY M. WEIDA

Audrey M. Weida, 76, of Belton, MO passed away November 6, 2013 at Beautiful Savior Home. Memorial service will be 11 AM Wednesday, November 13, 2013 at Bethlehem Lutheran Church 310 Johnston Pkwy., Raymore, MO 64083 with visitation 10-11 AM. Inurnment will be 2 PM Wednesday at Wills Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Beautiful Savior Home 1003 S. Cedar Belton, MO 64012. Audrey was born November 19, 1936 in Chisago City, Minnesota, the daughter of Art Edwards and Florence Kelly. She was preceded in death by her parents; step mother, Hattie Edwards; step siblings, Audrey Christenson, Jane Genske and Tom Edwards. Audrey is survived by her four sons, John Weida (Bonnie), Paul Weida (Anita), Gary Weida and Rob Weida (Kelley); sister, Jackie Sellman (Terry) and six grandchildren, Michael Joshua, Daniel, Joe, Jenna, Tony and Tom. Audrey was a very loving and caring Mother, Grandmother, Sister, Aunt, and a friend to many. She always had a smile on her face and looked for the positive in every person and situation. She was employed at JC Penny Company and then Foxwood Springs Senior Living Community. Audrey was a member of Bethlehem Lutheran Church for 22 years. Family and friends will smile and think of Audrey when they see a frog – she was a wonderful beacon for - FROG (Fully Rely On God), as was represented by the many frog pictures and Knick knacks in her home and the many pieces of FROG jewelry she wore.
