IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Arthur Allen
Seever

ARTHUR ALLEN SEEVER
It is with profound sadness that we announce Arthur (Art) Allen Seever has been received into the loving arms of Our Lord and Savior on 12/30/2023 at the young age of 86.
Services will be held on Monday, January 8, 2024 at South Haven Baptist Church, 16800 Bel-Ray Blvd., Belton, Missouri 64012. Visitation will begin at 10:00 a.m. followed by a funeral service at 11:00 a.m. A graveside service will be held later that day at 2:00 p.m. at the Missouri Veterans Cemetery in Higginsville, Missouri.
Art is preceded in death by his parents, Henry Seever and Anna Fouts, 3 brothers: William, Jacob and Edward and 2 sisters: Laura Marie and Carol Ann. He leaves behind his wife of 61 years Pamela, 3 children: Kathleen, Thad (Kathleen), and Chet, 4 grandchildren: Whitney, Winston, Blake and Jordan, 2 great grandchildren: Phillip and Alexander, and two sisters: Ikey and Sandy.
Arthur will be missed not only by his family and friends but by the community and church he served. He participated in coaching softball and baseball, and umpiring during his children's youth and attended sporting events, plays and concerts when his children or grandchildren participated. He was a Scout Master for the Boy Scouts of America Troop 111, seeing his two sons to Life and Eagle Scouts. He served on several committees, volunteering at Young at Heart, and serving in children's church at South Haven Baptist Church. Art retired from the United States Air Force as a Tech. Sgt. and went on to retire from the Marine Corp Finance Center as a Systems Analyst.
His calm caring demeaner put people at ease. He was not only a wonderful spouse, supportive father and caring grandparent, but a true friend and advisor to those around him.
He will be missed deeply but we know that he is now in a better place free of illness and pain, surround by family, friends and Our Lord.
