April Allegra Stearns Barden passed from this life into eternal on October 24, 2011 in Kansas City, Missouri after a life-long courageous struggle with numerous health problems. Allegra is survived by the love of her life, Jeffery Stine of Belton, Missouri, Jeffery's mother, Kathryn Stine of Peculiar, Missouri, Jeffery's Grandmother, Betty Ray of Strafford, Missouri, mother and step-father, Jack and Ada Suzanne Palmer of Alvin, Texas, father and step-mother, Charles and Nena Stearns of Austin, Texas, brother, Jacob Stearns of Bee Cave, Texas, Grandmother, LuEtta Johnson of Friendship, Texas, step-sisters, Beverly Anne Robinson of Little Elm, Texas and Yvonne Cullen of Austin, Texas, step-brothers, Jack Eugene Palmer of North Las Vegas, Nevada, Manny Hernandez of Austin, Texas, David Hernandez of Cedar Park, Texas as-well-as by numerous loving cousins, nieces, nephews and friends who will miss her solely. Allegra's life was exemplified by unstinting generosity, bravery in the face of overwhelming health problems, an exuberant love for God's creatures, both human and animal, and a bubbling zest for life in everything she did. We will miss her mischievous sense of humor, her bawdy audacity, her compassion and her wisdom. Wait for us, dear girl. We will see you again before we know it.
