Obituary

ANGELO C. MANNINO

Angelo C. Mannino, age 77, of Raymore, Missouri passed away unexpectedly on April 13, 2026, at his home.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Holy Spirit Catholic Church 1800 SW State Rte. 150 Lee’s Summit, Missouri 64082. Rosary will be Tuesday, April 21, 2026, at the church at 5:00 p.m. followed by the visitation from 5:30-7:00 p.m. Mass will be 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, April 22, 2026, at the church followed by burial at Mt. Olivet Cemetery, Raytown, Missouri.

Angelo was born in Kansas City, Missouri on September 17, 1948, the son of Carl J. Mannino and Frances Mary Taormina. Shortly after graduating from high school, Angelo married the love of his life, Earlene A. Hughes on June 7th, 1969. Together they were blessed with three children, Gina, Angela, and Joseph. In life, Angelo worked as an engineer for MODOT for 30 years, for Delich Roth Goodwillie Co. for 5 years, and Cook Flatt & Strobel for 5 years. Angelo had received his professional engineering degree from Finlay Engineering College. He was a 4th Degree Knight in the Knights of Columbus at Holy Spirit Catholic Church in Lee’s Summit. Angelo was an avid guitarist, he taught students and played in several bands for many years. He enjoyed going fishing and hunting. Most of all he adored his grandchildren, he loved teasing them and attending all of their activities.

Angelo was preceded in death by his parents, Carl J. and Frances Mary Mannino; his loving wife of 56 years, Earlene A. Mannino; three brother in-laws, Rocky Munzuris, Michael Brocato, and John Hughes; and sister in-law, Linda Hughes.

He is survived by his three children, Gina Mannino (Jason Whiting), Angela Collins (Eric), Joseph Mannino (Elizabeth); three brothers, Frank Mannino (Rosemary), Carl Mannino, Jr. (Stacey), Anthony Mannino (Debbie); two sisters, Rose Munzuris and Frances Brocato; eight grandchildren, Graceanne Gunter, Jacob Collins, Audrey Collins, Skyler Plumb, Carl Mannino, Kaleb Plumb, Justin Mannino, and Arabella Mannino; in-laws, Steve Hughes, and Sharon Whalen (Joe).

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Knights of Columbus Council #8334 Holy Spirit 1800 SW 150 Highway Lee's Summit, MO 64082.
